Dr. Torrance Walker

Dr. Torrance Walker is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, joint preservation and reconstructive surgery.  He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), Little Rock, Arkansas.  Pursuant to his medical degree, Dr. Walker completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the UAMS Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Little Rock, AR and is fellowship trained in Hip and Knee Reconstruction and Arthroplasty (Total Joint Replacement), Campbell Clinic, Memphis, Tennessee. 

He has performed Anterior Total Hip Replacement for over 10 years and now offers joint replacement as an outpatient or same day discharge.  Dr. Walker has a particular surgical interest in the treatment of hip and knee pathology affecting the young athlete, mature athlete and active adult utilizing hip and knee arthroscopy and other joint preservation techniques including cartilage restoration, osteotomy and resurfacing. He is Board-Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Subspecialty Board-Certified in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. 

Prior to moving to Texas, Dr. Walker helped many patients in his private practice in Arkansas for 8 years during which he provided sports medicine, total joint replacement and general orthopaedic surgery care. He is dedicated to delivering quality and compassionate care to patients suffering with joint pain and is pleased to welcome new patients.
